Update...after over 2 weeks of corresponding with ebay, I get this in response.

So as far as I can tell the seller's account is still active on ebay, and there doesn't seem to be much else I can do short of taking legal action.
Please watch for this one to be offered for sale elsewhere...the seller seems like a real piece of work.
