Hello everyone, I have just acquired a historical car which needs to be brought back to as it was new, so I must part with all my other cars and parts to pursue this dream. One such part is my original Hone o Drive overdrive unit, as you all know it is a two speed gear reduction piece offered in the 1960's-1970's. It allowed people to have a higher numerical rear end gear for drag racing while being able to shift to a numerically lower rear end gear for highway driving. I remember hearing some of the Chevrolet dealers like Baldwin Motion, Yenko and Nickey may have made these Hone o Drive units available to purchase over the counter. It is not often you see these come up for sale, but I thought some of the forum members would enjoy seeing one, it is on Ebay now, just use "hone" or "hone o drive" as your search words and it should pop up.
