Default Re: Helping a Friend

We stopped in to see Bob and Nancy again yesterday afternoon. Bob's brother and sister-in-law were there too. Bob had a chemo treatment earlier in the afternoon so he was pretty tired and his throat was sore and dry. We didn't stay long because he was trying to talk and it was obviously causing some discomfort. One more week of the chemo and radiation combination, then three more weeks of radiation only. Although the radiation treatments will be daily on weekdays, Bob is planning to do daily trips and avoid any overnight stays during this phase.
They're both in great spirits and always have big smiles for anyone who walks into the room. It's a very positive attitude from them and anyone we've talked with when we visit. It's still a serious situation but I honestly believe Bob is winning and will beat this. We're looking forward to Spring so we can all get back into the swing of things.
Please continue to send your Best Wishes and encouragement. These folks are worth our time, efforts and Prayers!

Oh, one more thing. They found out New Years Eve they're gonna be Grandparents again.
