In the mid-late '60's one of the quicker stock/un-modified cars in town was a '66 Catalina 2plus2 tri-carb 421 (376hp IIRC?) 4 speed with 3.73. It would hook up and be gone!:3gears:

Bill, looking at the contours of the intake, plus it has a by-pass hose at the front, I am guessing that the aluminum intake was painted with the rest of the engine at rebuild time. Probably too lazy...
