Re: Buddy Rice

I wonder if this car has a connection with the 2 427 Corvettes provided to Jim Tice, President of AHRA, one delivered in March of 1968, for the '68 season, the other in late fall of 1968, for the '69...

Re: Dick Harrell, Super John '69 Camaro

Kim, this car was run in 1970 by John McFadden, maybe that is why the decal placement is the same. This is the ex-Leatherman body in white/rebody. I thought I heard this car still exists? Would be...

Re: "SYC" MEMBERS IN CHEVY RUMBLE

I was suprised when Bob McClurg told me he sold his article to Chevy Rumble, because it's the second article they have done, the first in 2003. Bob was kind enough to do a photo shoot after last...

Re: 67 camaro production numbers

I owned an original SS 396 1967 convertible, and found all research I read indicated the RS option trim on a 396 car would be superceded by the SS option. But you never know, the trim holes line up,...

Re: March 2006 Feature Car

Denis,

I will try and find the dyno sheets, pretty interesting as they also show fuel and air data during the 7-8 test runs. May need to send them to Rob to post, so they are more readable.

Re: March 2006 Feature Car

To answer a couple of questions.

The crossram was installed just after the Bristol SpringNationals, which occurred on June 6-7 of 1968. Herb told me the set-up was received before that, and the...

Re: February 2006 Feature Car

I count myself very fortunate to have been on the same track with Ken at one time. Probably the only time I will get to "race" a ZL1.
