On the transplant cars, Yenko normally swapped...

On the transplant cars, Yenko normally swapped out the 396 short block for a 427 short block. They didn't stamp the vin, or any numbers on the 427 block.

This is something I was always curious about because the 1969 SS396 Nova power team chart...

I have seen it on some Yenko sold Corvettes and Z/28s and other cars. It is not clear if Yenko used the crest as a normal dealer...
