Have you verified that's a good stamp? EG doesn't look like it falls in line with the stamped digits before it. It looks like there's a ghost stamp under it too.

That's funny. Sure is in the eye of the beholder. That's one of my favorite, if not my favorite, on a second gen. I'd love to have this one. Short shifter and all.

Pertronix and done... If you weren't Day 2 etc., I'd say leave it points. I've been running a set in my 69 for the past five years. Not so much as a hiccup from them. I use a factory distributor....
