Re: Horn restoration
Try squirting some WD40 down into them for a little while. Then hook em up to a 12v source (battery charger works well) and bang it with a rubber hammer. I've been able to revive quite a few that way...

Re: My '69 Z28 Find
That is almost the exact car I want for a daily driver. LMB, White HS, flat hood, #s Z. Myself, I would have to add RS and an endura <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Re: 2012 Camaro ZL1
Yeah, they might've missed on this one, but I guess we'll see.
I would think there are many dealers out there that can give more bang for the buck. There's one locally that sells a 750hp version...

6cyl, 307, lo-po 350, and solid-lifter cars all had the single 3/8"

Re: BB CAMARO SPRINGS
I've been able to ID springs before using David Pozzi's chart. Also check to see if there is a number stamped on it, usually somewhere on the end coil.

Re: Ten favorite cars
Tough list. Would take some time to come up with the final 10. Off the top of my head:
69 RS/Z, LMB White HS, endura (all time fave)
61 Bubbletop, Impala or Ventura
67-8 Hideway Eldo
Mid 60's...

Re: what was the correct Power booster plating
Often, the original plating has faded to a more silver color after 40 years.
I've used Steve Gregori for many years, always had good results: www.brakeboosters.com (http://www.brakeboosters.com)
