Very Cool '70 Chevelle SS396 Project, Wisconsin Rusty, Possible Orig Engine

NEAT car - has buckets with no console, verified by the trim tag (756 interior code), and has the bench seat style shifter hump and bezel...my favorite combo for '70.

As an aside, I have taken an existing "lift off" hood and converted it to "bolt on".

I had a previous flat fiberglass bolt on hood on my Chevelle, and went to the lift off to save some weight...

The paint is not original. Very cheap respray, overspray everywhere and wavy. Birdcage is rusted under the rear door Jambs. Did not have to look hard to see it....

If I'm interpreting the VIN correctly, this was an original V8 car, but the seller states the 396 isn't the born-with engine. Still a great color combo and well equipped...even if it wasn't equipped...
