Very cool score Dana. That 5 stamped in the cowl tag is usually a factory line inspectors stamp, so inspector #5 at the Fremont plant checked that car out after final assembly.

Block vin is legit,...

My son had his first ever Pinewood Derby last year. We did research before the build and determined the wheels and axles are the key to speed.

My son was able to design his own car and paint...

I may be a newbie here but I agree with Don's statements about the 68 model year being a bastard child for most muscle cars. I don't know why but they seem to be.

I found a couple 69 GTO drivers...
