ARP has a Stainless 300 material for fasteners. Its tensile & yield is slightly weaker than CM but still higher than a Grade 8 bolt.

Many of these new manual transmissions have thin die-cast cases & tail housings. They try to rib them up but the strength is just not there compared to a thick-walled sand casting.

ARP reduced head bolts that use a 3/8” wrench are just amazing and will make you hate those ancient 7/16” header bolts! They come in SS or black oxide.
