I have given him so much advice re: originality over the years and he hasn't always listened to me. The suspension stuff is just money down the drain. Still...it's a rust free, 20,000 mile original...

After a quick read, that frame tag may have been a US Army issued tag. Please don't take my word for it...I just did a quick search. That website that I posted has lots of info.
