Looks like a phase III hood. The 67 vette scoop was molded into a standard 427 hood not an L88 hood, and the top of the hood bulge gets smoothed with no stinger. Doesn't sound like a motion vette...

If the car is a '68 then it is definately not a phase III GT. It still may have the possibility of being a Motion car, but not a GT. The GT program started in 69. What kind of hood is on it?
