Scoop the loop Waukegan IL 7/12
 

Anyone heading to waukegean this evening. I ended up there a little late last night and there was a good mix on cars.

Im close but have not made it the scoop for a couple years.

I remember scooping there in the late 70's, anyone else there
back in the day, have any stories. It got nutz some times

...waukegan is my home town....normaly i DO NOT MISS scoop the loop ( we hang at the south end, on the bridge )..but i had a wedding this year......got kicked out last year ! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

My Father's shop was only a couple of Miles from the Scooping circuit. Lots of very interesting cars and Characters. "Outlaw" Biker gangs would hang out there in the late 70s, before it was in vogue to be an Outlaw Biker.

So yes, I scooped the loop.

I noticed last time I was there (usually I dont make it until night time) that there was getting to be a lot of low rider type stuff. Is it the same??? I usually would try to sneek around the back & park on the south end by the bridge near the bar.

Is it still on the slide????
