Brake booster help
 

Ok guy's I had an issue with my brake booster on my 68 nova, and I never seen this before. I took my car to work and when I was leaving I got on the car real hard then had to stop real quick and I lost my power brakes. It blew the cover off the front of the check valve. I had to drive 25 miles with no pwer brakes to get it home. Do you think I have some thing wrong or just a defective check valve?

Try a new check valve...fairly inexpensive and non labor intensive compared to a booster replacement..
