Doug,I would like to buy that set from you if you are willing to sell it to me. My car was built around June 25-27 I think(VIN# 6616xx), so your rims would be correct for my car wouldn´t they ?
They could be shipped to my friend in CT, who can ship them to me.

Thanks Mark. I hope Doug is having a good weekend fishing. Being by the lake is usually very peaceful.

Yesterday we visited one of the nicest guys I know, at his house by lake Bolmen, celebrating his 50th birthday. He has a 1971 454 Corvette convertible with an LS-6 in it and a factory 1972 LS-5 Coupe, so we drove there with my friend Kjell´s 1969 RS Camaro and my COPO. It was much appreciated !
We had a wonderful evening by the lake with a temperature around 80 F at the beginning. Those who didn´t drive had some

can someone help me decipher the codes of this wheel? I have what I think is the orig spare in my trunk XT K19 but I didnt see the 6 6 or 6 5. I will be looking for 4 more in the future and I'd like to be an informed buyer.

Should be 2 numbers, one on each side of the valve stem hole. Sometimes they were stamped real faint and sometimes the stamper ended up in the valve stem hole itself (lazy assembly line worker) if it has the original paint on it, leave it alone. My 69 has the original fathom green XT and firestone redline still on it and you can barely make out the date. That's a nice car, enjoy it

[/ QUOTE ]K=Kelsey Hayes 1=Chevrolet 9=1969 these are to the left of the valve stem a few inches. Then next to the valve stem to the left is a number 1-12 this is the month, then to the right of the valve stem is a number 1-31 that is the day of the month.
