Disc Brake resto questions.

Rebuilding the front subframe on my 72 Nova. Had the frame blasted, epoxy primed it and painted it. Installed all new bushungs, springs, shocks. Now it's time for the brakes. The car has original grooved brake rotors which can probably not be replaced. Should I use them anyway, or is there a good replacement or aftermanrket rotor out there? Ditto for backing plates, mine are ok but, were painted black. Should I buy some zinc or silver paint, or do I buy a repop set? Recommendation on good caliper paint? I did have the caliper brackets replated in yellow cad. Thank You for your info. I really do appreciate it.

Just finishing same process on a 71 442. Keeping the grooved rotors as they were NOS in 1994 and have only seen 2000 miles. I purchased new backing plates from Inline Tube and other than not having the part number stamped in they are like originals. As far as caliper paint i use a cast grey caliper paint from Eastwood. Gives a tought long lasting finish. seems to stand up to brake fluid as well. You can use this paint on the hub part of your rotors as that part will probably be rusty.
