A guy named Jim called me and said he had two original seats. Did you find them yet? Thanks, Ed

Ed, if you can't find one, Al Knoch Interiors will make you one or a set. I had him make mine. I don't think anyone else makes them correctly. What color (exterior) is your car? Just curious as this interior is so rare. Mine is Cordovan Maroon with white stripes. Tom

Tom:

My car is a LeMans Blue/Black Vinyl Top/White Houndstooth Z/28. It's a 43,000 mile car that got drag raced and I've been restoring it for about 2 years. Things go pretty slow when you're retired.

I had another 68 Z/28 that I sold a friend of mine in Indy. It had it's original window sticker and is Corvette Bronze with white houndstooth. The interior on that car is nearly perfect. Anyway, the neat thing is on the window sticker Chevrolet called the interior "Dalmation". I don't think too many people know that.

Ed, You should consider putting both cars in the CRG registry. They are such rare color combinations. The last time I talked to Kurt, my car 68 RS Z28 was the only Maroon/White houndstooth car he had registered. I know of a LeMans Blue 396 A/C car with white houndstooth that still lives in my hometown. Good luck with your hunt. Tom
