Media Blasting

I mostly use glass bead in my blast cabinet.

Recycled Glass............Fine but cant recall grit size

I start out with medium grit glass bead in my cabinet because it last a little longer than the fine grit. Mark

Thanks for the response.
Are glass beads good for heavy rust removal? I am using coal slag and it works great but I am concerned about breathing in the dust. Does anyone use coal slag (Black Blast) and should I be overly concerned about the dust? |

Aluminum Oxide works good on rust and scale, comes in different grits.
It does upset the metal slightly. Mike |

Glass grit will do a nice job to remove RUST. |
