Vintage Stereo stuff
Rummaging through the garage earlier tonite looking for something else and this popped up.
My old reverb unit Mfgd. by Tenna Corporation. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...y/DSCF0381.jpg Also found this burried in another box. Anyone else ever seen an AR 8 track? I'm thinkin it might find its way back into a Chevelle. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...y/DSCF0374.jpg http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...y/DSCF0377.jpg |

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...y/DSCF0374.jpg [/ QUOTE ] Is that actual size? I knew those old stereo units were big but that looks like an F78x15. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
Re: Vintage Stereo stuff
https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif Pre alpha-numeric. I think it's a 7.35 x 15.

Re: Vintage Stereo stuff
I've still got the 8 track player for my Chevelle along with the box of tapes. I still have the AM radio cartridge that plugged into the tape player. Chromed 15" aftermarket rally wheels, Hurst shifter, Delco CD ignition kit. Original Uniroyal spare tire and SS wheel. Guess I should have said we. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

One thing I haven't been able to find yet is my FM converter that slid into the tape deck. It had a plug for the car antenna to attach and although it seems unlikely, I think it picked up power somehow from the tape deck. (Maybe there was a battery in it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif) Too many years have passed and I've raised too many mugs to all the folks here! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif |

The wire on the side is actually an antennae that you drape over your visor or some lay on the dash. This one actually works reasonably well. I used it in my Chargers AM 8-track multiplex stereo. (which sounded like crap on it's own, but at least this gave it the capability for the FM to sound equally crappy, too.) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...8/P2210001.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...8/P2210003.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...8/P2210004.jpg |
