Dick Harrell to Yenko
 

I saw this article and thought it looked like something that should be posted here. This states when Harrell joined up with Yenko. Did he join with Yenko because of the cutbacks in the Nickey racing programs?

I don't believe Harrell ever stayed and worked in Canonsburg. I think most of the work converting cars would have been done in Dick's Kansas shop, and then shipped from there..BKH

The DH shop where some Yenko Super Camaros were built was in East St. Louis in 1967

Thanks, guys. I knew where DH's shop was. I was mostly curious about the reason Harrell left Nickey to work with Yenko. Was it due to Nickey making cutbacks in its racing programs or some other reason?
