Re: COPO block,bare heads, and crank,KB pistons,rings

I don't think that is a COPO block, the two hits I get on that suffix is either:

1.Code Year CID Vehicle HP RPO Trans Carb Comments
LM 69 427 Corvette 390 L-36 4-Spd 4-Brl

or

2.Code Year CID Vehicle HP RPO Trans Carb Comments
TLM 72 402 Truck 210 L-47 TH-400 4-Brl C 10 & C 20, A.I.R.

I *think* all of the COPO blocks were M* blocks.

Being a 512 block rules out the 402.

I think it is out of a 69 Corvette. I think the 3rd digit of your VIN is the letter "S" not the number "5".

That's what I think too,as only the 69 vettes starting VIN sequencing with 700001.

Re: COPO block,bare heads, and crank,KB pistons,rings

The second T in the engine suffix date is a number [0-9]not a letter [T],ill take a lucky guess and say its a 1 first, if not a 7... also it is a 2 bolt, unless it is a factory 4 bolt with a 2 bolt engine code, which is very very remotely possible.

Thats a four bolt main, which is a good thing.
