Re: November L78 Water Pump
I would imagine your talking about a 1969 Camaro?
If November of 68,agree on the #065. If November of 69,don't exclude the #811 entirely. |
Re: November L78 Water Pump
It is a 1970 L78 Camaro with a November 1969 Tonawanda built engine. When did they change to the 811 Water Pump?

Re: November L78 Water Pump
I have seen some veeeeeeery early 1970 production vehicles with the #065,(Aug.~early Sept.1970 assembled),as they probably used the old remaining inventory up first at various plants throughout the country..and there was overlap w/the #811,so either one was possible.
I think they started casting the #811 pump in mid 1969. Honestly,I would opt for an #811 on yours. |

Mark, The '065 is your man.... Nuch [/ QUOTE ] Sorry Mark, If you're talking about November of 1969, than the '811 is the one you want. Interesting that some early build 1970 cars used '065 units. I would have thought that they were long out of invertory. Oh well, they were probably being used as door stops, paper weights, and to hold open windows... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif Nuch |
