Chevrolet Dealership showroom Thermometer-NOS

I found this in the attic at a local Chevrolet Dealership,Ed James Chevrolet in Bolingbrook,Il. back in 1986.It registers from 110 degrees to -30 degrees Fahrenheit.
It's NOS,made of steel and still retains the protective wax paper adhered to the front face.
It can be removed easily without harming the finish.
The front graphics are painted on,and has a vintage Chevrolet Dealership corner pic at the bottom, circa 1950's.The backside is still retaining the original Orange back coat.
It measures 39" long X 9" wide and weighs roughly 5 lbs.
I also found the ORIGINAL degree tube next to it,glued down in the ORIGINAL wood trough. This merely screws into the backside with ordinary woodscrews so the degree tube can display through the front slot.
On the very top it reads,First in Sales..First in Service"
On the very bottom it reads,"A General Motors Value"..Detroit, Michigan

"It registers from 110 degrees to -30 degrees Fahrenheit."

Damn! I'd buy it in a heart beat, but the dang thing would be busted on one of our cooler days out here https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif . You got an upgrade kit to go with that?

Seriously, that is a very nice piece. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
