ID early Aluminum/Steel spoke wheels.

These wheels were bought new in '63/'64 in the Chicago area and placed on the front end of a Plymouth used for drag racing. They have a 14" rim and a 4.5" stud hole circle and are approximately 5.5" wide, altho a 5" would work also. Description by owner: "I couldn't afford the fancy ones, but these had aluminum spokes and a steel rim". I would like to ID these.

Thank you, https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Sam,
I'll send you a picture of one wheel I have at home. Looks very similar to what you posted here. It's a peaked spoke like an American Torq Thrust, but has a steel rim. If I'm not confusing it with another of the wheels I have in the pile, I believe there's a "K" on the back indicating it's a Keystone.
I ran a set of Keystone steel rim/Aluminum face wheels on a '65 Impala I had but honestly don't recall them having the peak on the spokes. Too many years have passed! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/crazy.gif

Oops,.........way too many years I guess. The wheel is actually an M/T. This one is just as I found it years ago except for cleaning up the face a little. Please excuse the dirt, rust and the cool Mud & Snow tire. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Nope, just this one, but I'd make you a deal you couldn't pass up! Ya interested in that tire too? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Looking closer I don't think this is a match to what you're looking for. Subtle difference in the 'steps' of the rim at the spokes. PLUS, .............. this is a 14 x 6 with a 4¾ pattern.
