Muncie Supercase Trans Builder Advice

Fellas, I'm looking to remove the Richmond 5-speed transmission from my '55 and replace it with one of those completely new Muncie Supercase Rockcrusher 4-speeds. Probably with the 2.52 first gear ratio. I'm looking for some recommendations and advice on who to purchase and assemble this transmission. Several E-bay vendors out there on these things and I would like to hear some first hand experience and advice if possible. Who's the best? Thanks all.

Mark,

Give Greg Cullum a call...he knows a thing or two about transmissions. Greg had that same trans in is Black 300 Deluxe Chevelle.

Dan.

You're right. Greg's done the automatics in almost every racecar I've ever owned. For some reason he just slipped my mind when it came to manual transmissions but I will give him a call. Thanks Dan.

You cannot go wrong with Jeff Collins from Mid West Muncies. His work is excellent and a great guy to deal with.Does list and sell some of his work on E-bay and runs the super case M22's in his own street vehicles. He can be contacted at [email protected]. I am super picky when it comes to muncies and do most of my own rebuilds and he is one of the few that I am comfortable with working on my transmissions.
