Does anyone know whether this air cleaner is correct for the 65 Z16 Chevelle? I think it is, with the exception of the lid but thought I better ask to be sure.

That is the difference between the Z16 and 66 L72 air cleaners as far as I know. The LT1 air cleaner has a groove in the base and the snorkels attach much differently.
