Interesting thread about Can Am aluminum big block

There's an interesting thread on the Corvette Forum about the old Can Am aluminum engines. Neat stuff. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/drool.gif

Wow Rick...interesting reading alright!.

I see they mention that 430 Can-Am displacement I was questioning in Joe's post last week on the Harrell stuff...again I was wondering why Dick would specifically show the two ZL1 spec sheets w/ one as 427 and the other as 430 unless there was a reason...could he have been running a Can-Am motor in the '70 car?.

Growing up a few miles down the road from the Mosport circuit I was very fortunate to be weaned on a lot of great racing...but the Can-Am series was simply THE most unbelievable racing EVER!!!
