Some pretty cool Harrell pieces
1 Attachment(s)
I haven't scored any really good Harrell stuff in awhile, so I was excited when I struck a deal for this stuff... Its a packet of information and photographs Dick Harrell personally sent to Jeff Tinsley, a noted drag racing photographer of the day. The packet includes several DH press releases, a letter to Jeff from Dick, several photos, and even includes the original photograph that was reproduced for in the Dick Harrell promo kits we discussed a month or so ago here. According to the letter, this was a photo that Jeff Tinsley took, and Dick had reproduced at a local photo place. Even the envelope it was mailed in is cool, I've never seen one like it. The postmark date is Aug 6 1970, and was mailed from Kansas City MO. Not sure if these pics will allow the sheets to be readable or not, but figured some of you might dig seeing them.

We dig...cool stuff Joe!!!
Love the spec sheets...back to the wondering about which ZL1 blocks were actually being used when you see the 430 cubes specifically noted on the one sheet by Dick himself as wasn't 430 one of the Can-Am displacements?. ~ Pete https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
