Inspired by a thread with a certain somebodies Nova for sale. just wondering what is the feeling towards all the car and custom shows out there. Personally I am not much of a fan.

Chip is a nice guy, even though his stuff is a but too glitzy for me...

That Boyd guy. I hope he goes under AGAIN.

I guess that American MuscleCar show is okay, I seem to usually tune into repeats though.

This touches on a topic I started months ago. That being
practical body work. The thing about the cars that Chip
Foose and the like do that scares me a little is the skim
coats of filler, etc.. How well will they hold up in the
realities of life driving test? You know, chips from road
hazzards ( rocks, etc. ), door dings, and the like. These
cars are finished in a week or so. How well can they really
be done. I'd like to see a few of them 4 to 5 years later.
Chip is a class act to be sure.

If you haven't seen Driving Force with John Force and family, you have to see it. That is by far my favorite car/racing-related show. He is hilarious....and the girls are hot.
I can't stand Boyd.
I still find OCC pretty funny.

I do like that these shows have made muscle cars and gearheads slightly more mainstream for the fact that I can now find a sweet Chevelle or Camaro shirt for $8 at Target or JCPenny. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

I thought Force was taken off the air months ago. I loved it. Having two daughters I could really relate to that show!

I watch some of the shows. American Hot Rod is somewhat amusing and as far as PINKS goes I watch it every now and then but don't know why. Alot of white trash and ignorance. When they had the all out show for money it was a better concept.
