ralley wheel help!

I was told that the code for 68 nova ralley wheels with disk breaks is XG is this correct. What would the code XB be used for. Is one for nova and one for camaro.

Re: ralley wheel help!

I think that's correct.
XG rims were used on 1968-9 Camaros & 1968 Novas & 69-70 Non SS Novas,all w/Disc brakes.They have an .50 offset.
XB rims were used on 1968-9 Chevelles w/Disc brakes.
They have an .88 offset.

What offset are you refering to with .50 for nova and .88 for chevelle. These have a 4 5/16 back spacing.

This might sound dumb but what were XT used for then? I have drums on the back and disc on the front. What would I use all around? XG or XT? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

XT's aren't rallys, but 14x7 "plain-Jane" wheels that clear discs.

Ok I am confused A friend had a xb coded 14X6 rally wheel. He let me try it on my car with 4 piston disk breaks. It clears the caliper fine am I missing something. It has 4 5/16 back spacing. I don't have the 2 side by side to compare the difference. Is this just a visual difference.
