removing windshield seal gunk

What's the best way to get that nasty stuff out of the window channel? I need to clean up the front and rear and it sure is messy.

I have used enamel reducer to take it out, because it will not hurt the laquer paint.

Try 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner. Part # 051135-08984. Good stuff and harmless to paint.
