Boring out a AMC 390 - .60 over - ????

I may be pre-mature here, I may have to bore out my 1969 AMC 390 engine to .60 over. It's already been done at .30 over. Some are saying it will create an overheating problem, others say ok. -- I'm looking for feedback. George

If you are concerned about going .060 over, consider sleeving each cylinder. then, you can either bring it back to standard bore, or go over .10,.20 etc. I drag raced a small block chevy
extensively that was sleeved, then bored to yield 355 cubic inches with no problems.
