Exactly what happend to JJ? I read he was in a head on collision. But was he going racing, with family, or what?

He died in September of 1977 at the age of 32 after suffering fatal injuries in a head-on collision in his Corvette with a bus.

I good friend of mine saw that car at Capitol in 69/70 era. He said Grumpy was there with Jungle tuning the ZL1.
He was running a B/MP Candy Nova at the time. He said it had a sound of its own!

The accident happened on the Schuylkill Expressway (a major artery into Philadelphia) before there was a center barricade, the local report was that he crossed over the line intentionally https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif
