This is a copy of a flyer he was handing out! 1965 FORD DOHC INDY Motor! Complete Engine with rear exhaust system and magneto ignition. All casting #'s are 1965! Was out at a swap meet today! Here is what he has for sale: Flywheel & Clutch Extra Flywheel Extra new cyl sleeve Front main bearing cap with oil pump 33 new rod bolts 11 rod bots new/used(?) water pump with gear 2 complete extra rods 4 rods less rod caps 17 sets of new rod bearings(mix of red,orange,& blue) 2 sets of new rear main bearings with flanges(red,blue) 9 pair of new front and middle main bearings(red,orange,& blue) Many extra sets of used but apparently rod and main bearings 1 complete set perfect circle piston rings-std. bore(comp & oil rings) Extra Throttle arm Breakerless distributor base Complete breakerless distributor with drive adapter Box of nuts & bolts(Many drilled for safety wire) Assembly & timing manual Engine is complete & ready to assemble for your installation ************************************************** ********** |

There is a guy down here by me who was involved back in 63-64 who raced these types of Fords; \
he still has one of the FORD prototype cars with a honeycomb chassis/body. He would know everything about that motor! |
