Camaro Upper Ball Joint?

Would this GM NOS upper ball joint be correct for a 1969 Camaro?

P/N on the box shows 3848048. I believe it was changed later to 3963842.

Re: Camaro Upper Ball Joint?

Yes...
It also fits:
1967-69 Camaro
1964-72 Chevelle
1968-74 Nova
It was later replaced with Part #9758711 in 1977.

That is correct ...but it think the assembly line ball joints had 1/4" holes for the rivets not 5/16" like that appears to have. I think it is a superceded part for the instalation of bolts insted of rivets. Otherwise the apearance is the same.

The "bubble top" ball joint is correct for many applications although I thought that 69 and newer had the newer "raised center" ball joints.
Rick is this correct?
