Spiral shocks

Is there a source for these? I'm planning on doing a frame off on my W30 this coming fall/winter and think it would be wise to start stockpiling parts.

I know they are hard to come by, but some leads would be helpful.

Thanks,
Todd

Well Todd, if you are looking for correct numbers and dates you will indeed have quite a task on your hands. Then, if you find some, will they be in proper working order? I may be wrong, but I do not believe they can be rebuilt. Perhaps others on here have more knowledge on the possibility of rebuilding.

Reproduction spiral shocks are available. My understanding is they do come with a specific part number, not sure what that number is. Do not believe there are any dates on them.

There are indeed people out there with NOS ones, just a matter of trying to find them. All the best in your search.

What's the Part# & dates you require?

I'd have to look up the part numbers and such, but dates would be prior to October '69.

Actually not even sure where to find the part numbers. Chassis manual? I have one around here somewhere.

Olds' don't seemt o have the info out there like Chebbies and I haven't really looked into all the minutiae as of yet. Guess i need to start digging this info up one way or another.

btw-Repops would be fine for me.
