Original Parts Question
 

When I purchased my 69Z, the odometer showed 53K. The car was supposedly in Florida for a while. I tried a title search sometime back and came up empty. My question, I believe that both the rear drums and front disc calipers are original to the car. How can I tell? Are there part#'s, or can you tell by the looks or construction?

Part#'s and date codes.
Then there is no guarantee that they were not replaced with "correct" parts, although with 53k original miles it is a reasonable to assume that if the car has not been apart or thrashed that the parts are original to the car.

What part numbers am I looking for? And where would the date codes be located? Both back drums have the same part number and some type of "W" code.
