Build sheet wheel cover codes

Does anyone have info to decipher the different wheel cover codes on build sheets? I'm looking at box #91 on a 70 Chevelle sheet. I'm specifically trying to find out what the code would be for the standard 68-70 "dog dish" hubcaps, part #3916434.

Asking this another way, does anyone know what wheel cover is indicated by "BG---"? I'm guessing this means a small cap (the standard dog dish?) with no trim ring.

Thanks!

Re: Build sheet wheel cover codes

I assume the buildsheet shows the wheel color (like the 67-9 Camaro broadcast sheets). That should answer your question; any body colored wheel is a dog dish, black for full hubcaps.

You know what happens when people assume... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif This car has a special-order paint code (- -) on the cowl tag, and the build sheet is blank across box #44 (Color). Any other ideas?

Here is a picture of the PO1's. Bought myself a complete set from Charley last year. I am going to be putting them on my 69 Camaro convertible this spring, just as soon as I get them restored. The PO1's originally came on my convertible, per the windowsticker, buildsheet, etc.

Hey Steve,

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with the PO1's. It gives the car a different look, versus the Rally wheels you see all the time. Now I just need to get rid of the ralley's that are currently on my vert. Got a picture of your 68 with the PO1's? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Sorry, out of my area of knowledge. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif
I don't see any color code for the wheels on a buildsheet. Kinda surprised.
What wheels are indicated in box 45?

Re: Build sheet wheel cover codes

Box 45 lists YB code 14x6 wheels. I'm thinking someone on this site has a build sheet for a car that originally came with the dog dish caps. Anyone?
