1969 Camaro on E-bay
I came across this auction. Looks like a very nice car.

Gotta love the aftermarket air conditioner with the giant York compressor. Now that is some serious vintage air!!! Can't see where they put the evaporator from the interior pics.
The great thing about this car is you can actually drive it. You don't have to worry about someone nit picking it to death for "wrong plating on the clip to the decombobulator valve". Lynn |

Evaporator---I think it's in one of those plastic underdash units that has the vents and controls landed on it also.

Looks like that Trim Tag decodes as a white painted roof over Olympic gold! And a 307 with a 4 speed. That has to be unusual. It really does look like a great car.

It looks like a 68 big block decombobulator to me. It's the same one that is on my 68 Beaumont. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |

I really like this 69 Camaro Sport Coupe, especially the 65-50 paint. The seller calls the top Ermine White, when it is actually called Dover White, per the Code 50. A 307 with a 4 speed - great combo. You just don't see those two tone colors together everyday.

Good eye, Kurt!
Looks like Erie, PA put a new interior in it, and Palm Harbor, FL washed the engine bay. At least they should replace the multi-part upper radiator hose before advising you to "buy it and drive it home". https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif Too much money to spend I guess. -Sam |

They changed over in 69 so that what was used on the 68 big blocks went on the 69 small blocks. Let's keep this misinformation to a minimum so we don't get some poor soul putting the wrong decombobulator on his 69 small block. Could cause premature wear of the muffler bearings. Lynn |
