69 Camaro headlamp bezels molding?
 

I asked this on camaros.net and just thought I would throw the question out here as well.

Were there different molding colors on the bezels similar to the way the grilles are molded?

The silver bezels were an off white/grey plastic and were painted silver. The back side of originals show that very clearly..BKH https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Thanks Brian. So if the car was an SS the off white bezels were just painted black?

They were black plastic like the SS versus Z-28 grills.

Ok. The factory had 2 bezels. Black molded for SS and off white/argent painted for base cars/Z/28s. Were they distinguished by different part numbers?

I am looking for another clue to tell base car vs. SS.
