I was in Japan a few years ago. While riding a train I spotted a 70 Barracuda. Don't think it was anything special but we were going so fast that I couldn't get that great of a look at it. There is one candidate.

they have a lot of nice cars over there, I recall a few years back some articles about the concern of how many nice cars were being purchased and shipped out of the country, at the time the nice low riders were the target of choice, and the Muscle cars of the 60's.

There is a growing "rat rod" and custom (and "kustom") culture in Japan too. They take our enthuisiasm for fifties culture and magnify it by a factor of ten.

I was on www.hotrodtv.com reading about the 2004 hot rod power tour and they were mentioning about the cars that showed up had a trend going with remakes of nostalgia wheels, with a few examples showed
