Trim ring restoration
Does anybody have a good source for cleaning up original GM four clip rings that have small dents or curb rash?
Thanks https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: Trim ring restoration
My guess is that it would be quite cost prohibitive. In other words, it'd cost you much more to have that done than it would to find and buy better ones. I restored a set of N96 mag wheelcovers (multi-piece) after asking around about having someone do them for me. I decided to keep buying used (eBay) covers until I had four good chrome outer rings to swap with four good inner cast mag pieces. NOS would be at least $500, probably more, and my total outlay for 12 covers plus supplies was less than $200.
Good luck. |

I'd love to know to. I have the same problem.

Re: Trim ring restoration
Wouldn't a shop that restores stainless trim be able to de-dent and restore those trim rings?
