Hey great I missed this race but found a pic of the car and trailer. Herb Forrest out of Tulsa. I did the paint and body work on this car when I had my bodyshop back in the early '80's. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Did you happen to see this?
http://www.autocourse.ca/photos/sais.../transam/4.jpg That's a pretty cool shot!! Under the 1967 Trans-Am listings - apparently driven by Dick Guldstrand. |
Re: Trans-Am cars in Canada, great website
That is a misidentified photo. That is Don Yenko's '67. Guldstrand's had white stripes and Dana Chevrolet on the rear quarters.

Those are some great photos of the cars that raced in the SCCA road races. It's amazing how much the tires bulge out from the rims on a lot of those cars.

They have some neat pics. I wish some were bigger.
Decent job on the zoom-in, but why does it look like the guy on the left is carrying a roll of toilet paper? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif Sorry, had to ask. |
