Engine deck height?

9.000 is minimum spec. Commonly machined to 9.025 though.

John, i have an engine with a 9.029. So this engine has not been decked very much??? It still has the stampings on the front pad, but shop says it has been decked?? Roger

Maybe, maybe not. ACTUAL factory deck heights, just like the specs on the rest of the parts, are gonna be all over the place. They'll be off from end-to-end and from side-to-side.
