Re: L88 cam and driveability
I run a 284 Extreme Energy Comp Cam in my 67 model 396 and it performs extremely well and sounds TERIFFIC.If you want a little more thumpty thump you can run the 294 and it hits a little harder.I also have A/C and have no problems cooling myself during those hot Houston Days.Just a thought for you.

Re: L88 cam and driveability
L-88 Cam is wicked. Hassett can tell you about the drivability on his 68 BM car.
The sound is very unique, especially uncapped! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |
Re: L88 cam and driveability
What is the weight of your car. A L-88 cam has great torque better than a L-72 but is way up high. If your car is under 2500lbs go for it. If over 3500lbs, and you don't want to run 5.13 gears think again.
