499 distributor
 
I have a 1111499 distributor..actually I have three..one a perfect original restored by Jerry MacNeish..another that is a blatent fake...and the third one I'm not sure. Here are some numbers...Advance B-20 Point plate 2769047 advance plate 786 and a W. Date is 9A5. I have pictures but no way to post. Comments? Thanks

I think my first post was vague. What I want to know is how can I tell if this distributor was restamped or is the real deal. Figured out the picture thing..here is a pic

Why not compare it to the "perfect restored original" that you have??

The perfect original is on a car in storage so it is unavailable for comparison. I eventually want to put this distributor up for sale and want to be sure it is genuine.

Two listed as restamps sold a couple of days ago for $225 and $250. What's an unrestamped one go for?
