1970 BM Camaro slides

My good friend is coming over this Saturday. His brother bought a brand new 1970 BM Camaro in 1970. He has about 40 slides of the car. Some really neat close ups too from what I am told. How do I convert the slide to digital pictures. I know I could put the slide in the viewer, then take a picture of it on the wall, but there must be a better way.

I'm thinking Wal-Mart or other film development places can do that, and can print them and/or put them on a disk for you.

Some scanners have a negative/slide adaptor.

You could purchase a slide scanner from CompUSA. The best bet is to do what was recommened above---take it to Walmart, Wolf or any of the other "bigger" photo processing places around and they should be able to put them on CD for you.

I meant CompUSA as a generic term...

Searching www.compusa.com I don't see that they carry one.

Searching Best Buy shows that they carry 1 brand.

Also, Circuit City shows that they carry another one.

Did you find one last night?

I actually just did this for the Vintage Camaro Pictures thread. I took my slides to Wolf Camera and had pictures made of them. After that I scanned them in. I would think you would have the option to have it place on a disk. Cost of slide to picture was 75 cents each. Anxious to see these!
