Memory Test, for Nov '66 Los Angeles Plant.
I may be having have a memory fade issue, I thought I read somewhere along time ago that the LA plant was on strike in Nov í66, anyone able to confirm this or have any paperwork about it, Just curious.

I believe all the GM plants were on strike. It really pushed back production of the 67 Camaros. That is why you find a lot them with motors that are months earlier than the build date of the car.

I remember, I was 21 at the time and a car nut! I can't remember what happened an hour ago, but I can tell just about everything about these old cars and events of the time!

If i recall correctly the Managers were building cars at a very slow pace trying to keep cars comeing off the line?

I'm pretty sure it was the body plants on strike and any other plants associated with the UAW unions. The company people may have done some work, but basically all work came to a halt. Engine building plants such as foundries and forge shops were mostly not affected and kept producing the engines, trannys, and rear ends.
