I had our '69 Z28 out of the garage today briefly while a contract was on site. I'm disappointed that the original chrome is starting to flash. They're 1990 dated round spokes but I might be in this boat sooner than later.

I’ll go ahead and tell on myself about the above pictured 15x4. I improperly stored my Cragars when i changed them out to the present TT’s i have on the 4K now and had to send the skinny and a 15x8 reverse back to Atlas for replating. A very costly mistake on my part!
Stored them in my dry but not climate controlled shop for couple years. Did a spring cleaning and moved them out n noticed some flaking, it was too late! Cragars are cool n pretty wheels but very hard to maintain. I think the best way to store them is in a climate controlled area and still get em out two or three times a year n check them. I learned a hard lesson for sure! |
